Rehda Youth Mount Kinabalu Climb

REHDA Youth organized a climb to Mount Kinabalu, Sabah on 10th June 2013. It was well participated by Michael Fu, Tan Jee Tien, James Tan, Tan Han Wee, Yap Chun Teng, Virata Gamany, Charles Wong and some of their friends. They started the climb at 9am to reach Laban Rata at about 4pm. They then woke up at 2am to start their climb again to reach Low’s Peak before descending the same day. Despite the many training sessions held, most of us were utterly exhausted at the end of the climb. Nevertheless, the journey gave them loads of fun, comradeship and great sense of achievement to have reached the peak.

On the following day after the Climb on 12th June 2013, we made a courtesy call on Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Assocation (SHAREDA). We were well received by Mr Chew Sang Hai, vice president of Shareda and some of his fellow council members which included their youth chief Miss Chew Fei Sean. Many issues were discussed ranging from Sabah property market to government policies and strategy to encourage youth participation in our organization. Kinsabina Group was very kind to host us lunch at their office. We visited a few development project and sales gallery in Kota Kinabalu.
