14–16 September 2026 marked the successful completion of the REHDA Youth Ho Chi Minh City Inside Track 2026, bringing together 26 participants for a three-day learning journey exploring Vietnam’s property market, development landscape, and evolving urban environment.

The programme began with a market insights session by Mr. Lawrence Lennon, Director of Capital Markets Services, Vietnam, CBRE, offering participants an overview of Vietnam’s property market and the trends shaping the sector.

The group then met with Mr. Philip Cluer, COO, Refico Vietnam, for an introduction to Refico and its development journey, followed by a visit to Nexus Tower. The session provided participants with a closer look at the positioning and development of a prominent commercial asset within Ho Chi Minh City’s CBD.

At Mizuki Park by Nam Long Group, Ms. Hua Khanh Van, Investor Relations Senior Manager, Nam Long Group, shared insights into Nam Long’s development approach and integrated township strategy before participants explored the development on site.

The tour continued with SP Setia Vietnam, where Mr. David Cheong, Head of Finance, Setia Vietnam, shared insights during the project presentations at EcoLakes and EcoXuan. Participants had the opportunity to experience both developments and gain a broader perspective on township development in Vietnam.

The final day brought the group to SkyWorld Development, where Mr. Brian Ng, Head of Vietnam Venture, SkyWorld Development Berhad, shared insights into SkyWorld’s venture and development journey in Vietnam.

The programme concluded at Celadon City by Gamuda Land Vietnam, where Ms. Anh Thompson (Le Hoang), Branding & Communications, Gamuda Land Vietnam, shared an overview of Gamuda Land’s presence in Vietnam before the group explored the township.

Beyond the site visits and presentations, the Inside Track created opportunities for participants to engage directly with developers and industry practitioners, exchange perspectives, and draw meaningful comparisons between the Malaysian and Vietnamese property markets.
