25 June 2025 marked the successful completion of the Beyond Check-In Hospitality Study Tour, an immersive experience designed to give participants an insider’s look into the world of hotel design, development, and operations.

The tour kicked off at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar, where participants were captivated by the hotel’s contemporary design and thoughtfully curated interiors. Guided by the hotel’s dedicated team, attendees explored various levels of the property, gaining a deeper understanding of its layout and operations.

Next, the group visited the construction site of Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, a highly anticipated hotel set to launch in Q4 2025. Participants received valuable insights into the hotel’s concept, construction progress, thematic design, and the projected impact it aims to make in the hospitality scene.

The journey continued to Lloyd’s Inn Kuala Lumpur, where participants enjoyed a curated lunch and a guided hotel tour. This boutique hotel impressed with its minimalist aesthetic, thematic room designs, and strong focus on sustainability—offering a refreshing take on urban stays.

The final stop brought the participants to Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park, where they were warmly welcomed with refreshments and a heartfelt introduction by the hotel team. The highlight of the visit was a 3-hour panel discussion, featuring experts from hotel construction, interior design, branding, and marketing. Participants gained behind-the-scenes perspectives on how hospitality brands come to life—from build to brand, and beyond.

The tour concluded with a hotel walkthrough led by Indigo’s team and a vibrant networking session sponsored by the hotel. The positive energy and insightful conversations left a lasting impression on all who attended.
